Advisor Serves Clients Across the Metropolitan Nashville Area
Kingsview Partners is proud to welcome Shawn M. Johnson, CEPA®, CRPS®, SE-AWMA®, AAMS®, to the firm.
Shawn operates his practice from the Metropolitan Nashville area and brings 28 years of industry experience to Kingsview. His work has long been guided by a desire to help create greater access to financial guidance, especially for individuals, families, and communities who may have gone too long without the right resources or support.
Born in Detroit and raised across several states before graduating high school in the Atlanta metro area, Shawn earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Jacksonville State University, where he also played collegiate football. He later earned his master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning in 2014.
For Shawn, financial advising has always been about more than strategy alone. He sees the work as a chance to help people move closer to a work-optional lifestyle, build wealth with purpose, and create a stronger path for the next generation. His client relationships are built around a comprehensive process grounded in listening, understanding, and creating a roadmap tailored to each person’s goals.
“I’ve always cared deeply about helping level the playing field,” said Shawn. “This work gives me the opportunity to serve as a resource, help families put a real strategy into action, and guide people toward the kind of life and legacy they want to build.”
Shawn works with a wide range of clients, including churches, small businesses, and individual investors. While each client’s goals may look different, he remains focused on helping them make meaningful progress with clarity and confidence.

Outside of the office, Shawn stays deeply involved in athletics, wellness, and community leadership. He enjoys officiating football and track, playing pickleball, competing in masters track and field, and participating in races ranging from 5Ks to half marathons. He also serves as co-chair of Black Men Run. Above all, Shawn values time with his wife, Joenequa, his daughters, Kortney and LaJaunea, and his grandson, Kamari.

Former Edward Jones Advisor Opens Kingsview Partners Office in Paris, TN.
Opening their newest office in Paris, Tennessee, Kingsview is excited to welcome Partner and Wealth Manager Ashli Newcomb, who brings ten years of industry experience to the firm.
After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Ashli began working with Edward Jones in July 2012, making the jump to Kingsview’s independent RIA platform in 2022.
Ashli’s primary clientele is comprised of strong, capable women who are solely responsible for managing their wealth. They have often been referred to her due to a recent divorce or the loss of a loved one, and are beginning a new chapter in life that may feel overwhelming.

Former Edward Jones Advisor Opens Kingsview Partners Office in Huntingdon, TN
Opening their newest office in Huntingdon, Tennessee, Kingsview is excited to welcome Partner and Wealth Manager Nick Priddy, who brings more than 17 years of industry experience to the firm.
Driven by a passion for advising his clients in a transparent, understandable way, Nick is thankful to be aligned with an independent Registered Investment Advisory Firm, where he operates under a fiduciary standard. Along with the benefits garnered by Kingsview’s multi-custodian, fee-based platform, he also has the freedom to provide truly client-centric strategies. Mr. Priddy’s comprehensive suite of services includes holistic financial planning, professional portfolio management, streamlined performance reporting and collaboration with tax and legal professionals.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a B.S. in Engineering and a minor in Business Administration, Nick found his true calling in cultivating a consistent process for long-term financial success. He understands the importance of stability and dedication, and worked with Edward Jones for 17 years before joining Kingsview. Nick also holds an AAMS and prides himself on the application of Christian principles to his craft.
Away from the office, Nick’s personal interests stay true to the values and interests of Tennessee. When he’s not in the office curating his clients’ financial security, Nick can be found raising registered Angus cattle and competing in rodeos and roping events throughout the state.
