Kingsview Partners today announced the addition of their newest wealth managers in Greensboro, North Carolina. Shannon Avery, AAMS®, and Kolby J. Madsen are former Edward Jones advisors who offer their clients in-depth industry experience and a deep commitment to personalized financial solutions.

Shannon Avery, AAMS® 

Partner | Wealth Manager Shannon Avery, AAMS®, holds a Business Administration and Management degree from Utah’s Western Governor’s University. She began her work in the financial field in 1993, returning to wealth management in 2016 after a long break to raise a family.

As a fiduciary, Shannon places her clients’ best interests at the forefront of her practice. “Finances often stir up strong emotions, influencing our decisions in profound ways. As someone who approaches financial matters with discipline and a steady hand, I help maintain clarity amidst the noise of emotions”, says Shannon. “My role is more than managing numbers; it’s also about providing a calming presence, offering rational guidance, and ensuring that my clients make informed decisions aligned with their long-term objectives.”

Kolby J. Madsen

Partner | Wealth Manager Kolby J. Madsen operates his independent Kingsview Partners practice in Greensboro, North Carolina. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Utah Valley University and a desire to help others, Kolby originally began his career in medicine, but found his calling as a financial advisor.

Kolby’s analytical mindset and problem-solving skills have proven the perfect fit for his work, and he takes a personalized approach with his clients, recognizing they each have unique goals and aspirations. He works closely with his clients to develop tailored strategies that align with their objectives, whether planning for retirement, growing a business, or preserving wealth for future generations.

Kingsview Partners announced today that Partner | Wealth Manager L.R. Mickle has joined their Myrtle Beach, South Carolina office. Originally from Pawleys Island, South Carolina, L.R. has twelve years of industry experience and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a specialization in Corporate Communication from the College of Charleston.

L.R.’s wealth management philosophy centers on educating clients during market fluctuations, building lifelong relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. He has emphasized the importance of continuous learning and professional development throughout his career. “I believe in the ripple effect of knowledge. My ultimate purpose in learning is to be able to pass information forward and help others achieve financial success.”

Kingsview Partners today announced the opening of their newest office in Lubbock, Texas. Partner | Wealth Manager Eric Caswell is a former Edward Jones advisor with over two decades of experience.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Texas Tech University in 1999, where he also played for the Texas Tech Football team. After college, he returned to his hometown of Brownfield, Texas and worked for his family’s farming and ranching business. This hands-on experience allowed him to gain a unique understanding of the correlation between prudent financial planning and the realization of long-term goals.

Eric joined Edward Jones in 2001, working there for 22 years before joining Kingsview Partners. “Life is a constant evolution, and so is the financial industry.”, says Eric. “Making the move to Kingsview’s independent platform allows me to act as a true fiduciary, which aligns with my personal philosophy that the client’s best interest always comes first.”

Sally Oradei

Originally from Madison, Sally Oradai attended the University of Wisconsin and earned a BA in Communications. The skills she honed during her studies, such as active listening, are invaluable, because financial matters are deeply personal and often evoke emotions tied to goals, dreams, and concerns. John Hanselman, CFP®

Born and raised in the heartland of Iowa, John Hanselman pursued his education at the University of Northern Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Finance. He embarked on his career as an advisor with Dean Witter in 1999, later moving to Wells Fargo in 2015 and spending eight years there before joining Kingsview Partners. Throughout his professional journey, John has witnessed significant market shifts and has developed a keen ability to adapt strategies that meet his clients’ evolving needs.

Kent comes to Kingsview with 24 years of experience and works with aselect group of very successful individuals, business owners and professionals who aspire to have a work-optional lifestyle. His practice uses a consultative process to identify clients’ current positions, where they want to go, and any potential stumbling blocks to getting there. 

This process involves three steps to determine a client’s best interest. “First, if we do a review and you’re already working with another financial advisor who is doing a great job, I might recommend you stay put. Second, if we identify some gaps in your situation that demonstrate that we are a good fit for each other, I might invite you to be part of our family of clients. Third, if I think you need a change, but I’m not the right fit for your situation, I would personally recommend a financial advisor who I believe might be.”

Ashby Dawson, CFP®, AAMS® 

Ashby joins Kingsview with 15 years of experience, and her personal measure of success is knowing her clients are poised to meet their goals and protect themselves from life’s many uncertainties. “I love to watch people flourish,” says Ashby, “and I think well-laid plans build bright outcomes. The right financial advice can help prepare you for whatever life brings – both the expected and the unexpected.”  

Ashby attended Hardin-Simmons University and graduated with a BA in Finance. She holds credentials as a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner™) and AAMS™ (Accredited Asset Management Specialist™). Trevin Bowen, AAMS® 

Trevin was born and raised in Amarillo and attended West Texas A&M, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Finance. He knew early on that he enjoyed helping others, and after discovering an aptitude for communication and analytics, Wealth Management became a clear professional path. 

Trevin comes to Kingsview with five years of experience, and believes strong relationships are critical in supporting clients throughout their financial journey. “I love getting to know people’s stories and successes. It’s a privilege to share special moments and memories, and to be a part of something important to them.”  

This philosophy holds true for Trevin in many different respects. “What makes me feel good and fulfilled is helping people. I love to give my time and experience not only in the finance world, but outside it, too. Lending a hand can come in many forms. Originally from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Harold graduated cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the financial industry.

Before becoming a Partner | Wealth Manager with Kingsview, Harold’s storied career included financial leadership positions that equipped him with a deep understanding of investment management and wealth management strategies.
