Kingsview Partners Highlights Partner | Wealth Manager Brent Bordenkircher, AAMS®

Advisor Serving Clients Across Springfield, Jacksonville, and Surrounding Illinois Communities

Kingsview Partners is proud to welcome Brent Bordenkircher, AAMS®, to the firm.

Brent operates his practice from the Central Illinois area, serving clients throughout Jacksonville, Springfield, and surrounding communities in Illinois. With 25 years of industry experience, he brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to wealth management and a strong belief in the role financial planning can play in helping people live with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Born in Canton, Illinois, Brent earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Illinois Springfield and built his career through advisory roles at Edward Jones and American Express Financial Advisors before joining Kingsview.

For Brent, financial well-being reaches far beyond numbers on a page. He views financial freedom as a way for people to experience more meaningful moments with the ones they love and to move through life with a greater sense of direction and peace of mind.

“Financial freedom opens the door to some of life’s most meaningful moments,” said Brent Bordenkircher. “For me, this work has always been about helping people build the kind of financial well-being that gives them more freedom, more confidence, and more time with the people they love most.”

Brent also brings a unique perspective shaped by the football field. He spent 19 years playing amateur football at the semi-pro and arena levels and was inducted into the American Football Association Hall of Fame in 2010 and the AAA Minor League Football Hall of Fame in 2014. Those experiences on the gridiron still shape how he serves clients today, reminding him that success rarely follows a straight line and that discipline and follow-through during difficult times can make a meaningful difference over the long run.

“Brent brings a strong sense of discipline, perspective, and commitment to the advisor-client relationship,” said Sean McGillivray, Chief Operating Officer & President of Asset Management at Kingsview Partners. “His experience, values, and long-standing dedication to the families he serves make him a strong addition to Kingsview, and we are excited to welcome him to the firm.”

Outside of work, Brent is a proud husband and father to his two children. He credits his wife, Tiffany, as instrumental to his success both as a financial advisor and as a dad. A longtime University of Illinois fan, Brent also enjoys staying involved in his local community and maintains a strong presence around local events, including the local Korn Ferry golf tournament each June.

Brent Bordenkircher serves clients from Kingsview’s Springfield-area office and can be reached directly by calling (217) 814-9777 or through the Kingsview website.

He works closely with individuals and families who want clarity around life’s biggest financial decisions and takes real satisfaction in helping clients build a plan for the future with confidence and purpose.

Kingsview Partners Highlights Partner | Wealth Manager Leon Shelton, CFP®, CPWA®

Advisor Serving Clients Nationwide from Wayne, Pennsylvania

Kingsview Partners is pleased to spotlight Partner and Wealth Manager Leon Shelton, CFP®, CPWA®, who operates his advisory practice out of Wayne, Pennsylvania, serving clients nationwide. Leon brings a rare blend of scientific training, strategic discipline, and long-view thinking to his work, helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and intention.

Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, Leon earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Indiana University before beginning his career as a financial advisor in 2011. Prior to entering wealth management, he spent more than a decade as a sustainability and environmental consultant, working directly with manufacturing leadership teams to implement responsible practices that saved companies millions of dollars. While the work delivered measurable impact, Leon felt drawn toward a more personal mission — helping individuals and families directly shape their futures.

That calling ultimately led him to financial advising, where success is measured not only in outcomes, but in lives changed. Today, Leon works primarily with biotechnology and pharmaceutical executives, helping them design comprehensive wealth management strategies that reflect their goals, values, and lifestyles. His approach emphasizes coordination and foresight — working closely with CPAs, attorneys, and other trusted professionals to ensure each element of a client’s financial life moves in sync.

Drawing inspiration from endurance cycling, Leon believes financial success is built through discipline, balance, and intentional direction rather than speed or shortcuts. Each client’s plan reflects their personal cadence, accounting for equity compensation, tax strategy, family priorities, and evolving life goals, while remaining resilient through changing market and personal conditions.

“My role is part navigator, part coach,” Leon explains. “I help clients stay on course through complexity, uncertainty, and change — so their strategy supports both long-term goals and peace of mind.”

Outside the office, Leon lives in Wayne with his wife, Catherine. He is the proud father of two adult children, David and Elsa, a son-in-law, Nicholas, and a newborn grandson, Dane. An avid cyclist, Leon serves as Ride Director for the West Chester Cycling Club and remains active in his church and local community.

Whether on the road or in his professional life, Leon believes life rewards those who are intentional about where they’re headed — and who value the people they travel alongside.

“Leon has a unique ability to bring structure and calm to highly complex financial situations,” says Kingsview COO & President of Asset Management, Sean McGillivray. “His background, discipline, and collaborative mindset allow him to guide sophisticated clients with clarity while keeping their long-term priorities firmly in focus.”

Leon Shelton serves clients nationwide from Kingsview’s Wayne, Pennsylvania, office and can be reached by calling (610) 810-0444 or through the Kingsview website.

Kingsview Partners Highlights Wealth Manager | Partner Brian Gremminger

Advisor Serving Clients Nationwide from Montgomery, Texas

Kingsview Partners is pleased to spotlight Partner and Wealth Manager Brian Gremminger, AAMS®, who operates his advisory practice out of Montgomery, Texas, serving clients across the United States. Brian brings more than 15 years of experience to his work and is known for a disciplined, relationship-driven approach shaped by some of the most challenging market environments in modern history.

Brian began his career as a financial advisor in January 2009 — just before the bottom of the global financial crisis and one month after marrying his wife, Nicole. Entering the profession during a period of extreme uncertainty helped shape his philosophy early on, as he found purpose in counseling and encouraging investors through volatility. Since then, Brian has focused on delivering personalized, relationship-driven financial guidance rooted in care and diligence. He believes clients who have worked hard to build their wealth deserve thoughtful strategies that emphasize tax efficiency, safety, and dependable outcomes. His disciplined approach centers on protecting long-term financial security — particularly during periods of market stress — by maintaining conservative reserves, avoiding unnecessary liquidation of equities, and building flexibility into each income plan.

“The goal is to help clients stay confident and focused, even when markets are unsettled,” Brian explains. “By building plans that balance growth, protection, and flexibility, we can help people move forward without reacting emotionally to short-term noise.”

Outside the office, Brian is deeply committed to family and community. He and Nicole are raising their two sons, Matthew and Wyatt, and stay actively involved in their interests — from soccer and baseball to 4-H shooting sports and outdoor activities. Brian is also a collector of classic automobiles and an NSCA competitive marksman.

An active supporter of his church, local schools, and community nonprofits, Brian gives back through organizations such as the Montgomery County Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. Whether working with clients, spending time with family, or supporting his community, he brings the same values of discipline, integrity, and care to everything he does.

“Brian brings a disciplined, client-first mindset to every plan he builds,” says Kingsview COO & President of Asset Management, Sean McGillivray. “His focus on consistency, risk-aware strategy, and high-touch guidance aligns strongly with the experience we want clients to have at Kingsview.”

Brian Gremminger serves clients nationwide from Kingsview’s Montgomery, Texas, office and can be reached by calling 936-385-0777 or through the Kingsview website.
